Chich has been passionate about art ever since he was old enough to doodle on people with sharpies. Shortly after graduating high school, he attended the Art Institute. His focus eventually shifted to tattooing, and in 2011 he started his apprenticeship at the Utah-based shop, 801, where he carried out an eighteen month apprenticeship. He has been tattooing professionally ever since, and became a resident artist of Gypsie Soul Tattoo towards the end of 2014. Chich specializes in hyper-realism tattoo work.
Isaac Serrano came to Gypsie Soul from Vero Beach, Florida. Isaac has been tattooing for over 6 years, and has always been interested in drawing, painting and art. As a self-taught artist, Isaac learned by practicing with and on his friends and family, and put a lot of work into developing his tattooing skills. He's thrilled to be working on one of the best shops in Utah now. He likes to tattoo many different styles, but right now he is enjoying black and grey pieces, color photo realism and he loves to do freehand work because it gives him an opportunity to do something completely original.
Matt Peters has been drawing since middle school. Originally from Flint, Michigan, Matt had planned on becoming a cartoonist and illustrator. He has carried that style into his tattoo work, which is mainly illustrative and neo-traditional. He has been tattooing since 2013, and says he feels grateful and blessed every day for being able to make art for a living.
Tattooing is Josh's love and calling. He has been professionally tattooing across the country for 18 years, and is also a professional singer. He says that both skills have taken him everywhere he has wanted to go, and he is always striving to better himself and become the best artist he can be.
